Items needed -
2 - 9" Round cakes (box mix or from scratch)
2 - Containers of White Frosting
1 - Container of Chocolate Frosting or 1 tube of black decorative icing to create bunny's eyes, wiskers, and mouth
Food Coloring
Candies for decoration - M&Ms, Jelly Beans, Sprinkles - the only limit is your imagination (optional)
Frosting bags and various decorative tips - not necessary but helpful
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1 - Start with any type of cake mix in the flavor of your choice - box or scratch - and bake as directed for 2- 9" round cake pans.
STEP 2 - Separate one can of frosting into two to create pink (for nose and inner ears) and a color of your choice for the bow tie - really, colors and decorative options are up to your imagination. If you don't want to do fancy icing, you can always use white for the entire thing and use candies or sprinkles to create the features of the bunny's face and colors on the bow tie.
STEP 3 - Cut one cake as pictured below to create ears and a bow tie.
STEP 4 - Arrange cake pieces to form bunny as pictured below
STEP 5 - Let the fun begin! Using chocolate frosting or black icing to create bunny's eyes, wiskers, and mouth. See pic below.

In the end, your cake will resemble the photo below. Just a reminder that this is a fun cake to make with kids and let them use their imagination to create a similar design - or totally different!
Enjoy!!
