About This Event
Join us to explore how communication changes when someone is living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. LivingADK Board Member, Kate Hanley Cominsky, Author of Breakfast Memories: A Dementia Love Story and Reframing the Conversation About Dementia Care, A Resource and Guide for Caregivers of Persons Living with Dementia, will be our guest presenter hosting an interactive conversation about what she learned as a caregiver for her mother who lost her battle with dementia.
This program is FREE, but pre-registration is required. Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of Breakfast Memories: A Dementia Love Story. We invite you to join us May 9th from 5:00-6:30 pm in the Niccolls Church Social Room, 228 Crosby Blvd., Old Forge for this heartfelt conversation. Please register by calling LivingADK at 315.369.3353. Deadline is May 8th.
We also wish to say thank you to Old Forge Library, St. Bartholomew’s Church, St. Anthony’s Church and Souvenir Village for their co-sponsorship of this community event.
A recording of this Dementia Education program will be shared on the LivingADK.org website. Hope to see you there!
