Cookbook - "From Farm to Forge" Recipes Inspired by The Old Forge Farmers Market

This LivingADK fundraising idea to publish a Cookbook inspired by the Old Forge Farmers Market came to fruition the Summer of 2019.  A committee was formed including Kathy Whitehead, Deb Carhart, Sandy Booton, Marion Oswald, Robin Hill and Lori Herron.  We engaged the services of Kurt Gardner of Kurt Gardner Photography, to help us create the beautiful cover art for our Cookbook.  Local and seasonal residents, market vendors, friends, family, local restaurants and resorts were encouraged to submit their favorite recipes.  Initially intending to have the Cookbook ready for publication and sale Summer of 2020, the pandemic stalled the plan as we were unclear how successful our tourism season would be.  We excitedly sent the Cookbook to press the Spring of 2021 and proudly offered the book for sale at the beginning of the Farmers Market season in June.
