The Regional Housing Committee for Western Central Adirondack Region has begun hosting a presentation series consisting of educational speakers from around the country. 

These individuals represent or were the driving force behind existing successful campaigns in their own communities to deal with affordable housing issues.

Most of the topics addressed in these calls involve ways to increase occupational density of homes, a successful transition of homes from community members of the past to community members of the future, and creative solutions for increasing housing stock. 

Speakers from Vail, Aspen, Main, Vermont, Inlet, Lake Placid and other regions will present to the public via zoom call.

The presentations will be recorded and shared on social media in an effort to bring quick, decisive community solutions to the affordable housing crisis by giving community leaders and citizens of the region accessible tools that can be used in Western Central Adirondacks.
